Andrii Palekha is a Ukrainian, a multi-talented filmmaker, producer experienced on film set either as Executive Producer, Unit Production Manager, Director of Photography, MoVI operator, Ronin operator, Aerial DoP, Drone pilot, Technical Director, Focus Puller, 1st Camera assistant, DIT etc. Andrii is well known in Thailand about aerial drone filming for various Feature films and Commercials when used heavy lifting drones with electronic stabilized 3-axis gimbal with hi-end cinema cameras. His engineering background is about gyro-stabilized heads for camera, specific dollies, rope platforms, custom build multirotors and any high-end industry-standard camera rigging for SFX.

Biography

After studying in Sterling High School in 1997 New Jersey Andrii back to Ukraine to study in European university in Kyiv at faculties of foreign economic and information technologies. After graduated in (2003) Andrii has pursued a career working it-engineer in government institutes and corporate business. In 2008 Andrii with his friend established Flycamstudio, R&D company specializing in gyro-stabilized platforms and remote-controlled UAV drones[1] [2] in few years company becomes the leading Ukraine supplier of aerial filming services.

Over the period since 2008, we actually went all the way - from the self-built "on the knee" small quadrocopter to professional multirotor complex satisfying the quality requirements for film footage. We know the price of success and the importance of impeccable reputation. - Andrii said in interviev with STB (TV channel) [3]

In 2014 due to the political default, Andrii decided to leave Ukraine, and try himself in the fast-developing economy of South-East Asia. Living in Bangkok he works side-by-side with international and local filmmakers to help them make great films.
Dedicated to the camera department and being an expert in high-top drones Andrii sharing experience with a close-knit community of Asian camera assistants and operators. Understanding the importance of succeeding, demands of filmmaking and local market aspects, Andrii in cooperation with Thai partners created FilmService(Thailand) Thai - ห้างหุ้นส่วนจำกัด ฟิล์ม เซอร์วิส (ประเทศไทย) company which focusing on cost-effective services for producing highest quality footages in South East Asia for feature, episodic, commercial or small documentary.
