The 60th Separate Mechanized Inhulets Brigade (Ukrainian: 60-та окрема механізована Інгулецька бригада) is a brigade of the Ukrainian Ground Forces formed on November 10, 2015.[2]
History[edit]
The brigade was formed on November 10, 2015, during the war in Donbas, where it fought against the Donetsk People's Militia and Luhansk People's Militia.
By the end of March 2022, the brigade had captured eleven settlements in the northern portion of the Kherson Oblast, including Novovorontsovka, Krasnivka, Kniazivka, and Kochubeivka.[3]
The brigade fought in the battle of Bakhmut to the point of exhaustion and were noted by the Washington Post as having low morale.[4] The brigade took part in the 2023 Ukrainian counteroffensive.[5][6]
