The 1777 New Jersey gubernatorial election was held on November 1, 1777, in order to elect the Governor of New Jersey. Incumbent Governor William Livingston was re-elected by the New Jersey General Assembly as he ran unopposed.[1]

General election[edit]

On election day, November 1, 1777, incumbent Governor William Livingston was unanimously re-elected by the New Jersey General Assembly as he ran unopposed. Livingston was sworn in for his second term that same day.[2]
