Interesting history, I have contacted Dirk Beetstra. It seems that the references to clarify the content with via external link is frowned upon. For future references, it seems best to avoid external links as a rule. However, I believe that since I made changes without adding "edit summary" on occassion my have been a problem.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Acuhealth (talkcontribs)

This is a case of mistaken overlap, I have whitelisted the user and removed the link from the monitorlist. No, using external links in references is NOT frowned upon, it is a very good practice. The problem is that there are many cases where people do use their own links to promote their business/etc. The bot has been designed to catch those, and except for some accidental overlaps (like this one), it is doing its job quite well. Hope this explains. --Dirk Beetstra T C 10:08, 16 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you Dirk, I have requested the page to be deleted due to this mistake. Thank you for the explanation. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Acuhealth (talkcontribs) 08:45, 21 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
