Closing rationale[edit]

Although the consensus was that Silver seren is a civil and constructive editor, the opposition focused mainly on an ideological point of view with regards to the editor's inclusionism. I saw in a few !votes a logical link to previous trends of admin behavior from the extremes of the inclusionism/deletionism debate, but the evidence for these trends is rather tenuous. It's better explained by the fact that there tends to be a visceral reaction towards people who hold strong, different opinions. Thankfully, there were many opposes that looked past this and managed to properly provide areas of concern and improvement for the nominee. There was one !vote that came in after the time expiry, an oppose, but either way the consensus had been formed before its inclusion. Because of that, I have not removed it. bibliomaniac15 05:42, 6 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
