Historical note[edit]

This proposal originated as The Aitias model.  Skomorokh, barbarian  20:23, 22 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Concerns[edit]

This currently has a very low threshold for initiation, and no detail as to what level of Support or oppose is required for a result. My view is that it needs a filter such as requiring three users in good standing to file it in order to prevent vexatious trolls filing these on every admin. Also it needs a fixed time span for it to run - RFAs run for 7 days, how long could one of these run for if the community lacked consensus? ϢereSpielChequers 10:19, 26 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

User conduct RfCs already have a certification threshold, and run for as long as they need to. Strict time limits hamper considered discussion; like all discussions, these could be put to rest if they are no longer generating productive discussion or leading to a clear conclusion.  Skomorokh, barbarian  16:16, 26 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
