89 votes to KEEP not Redirect, not Merge. So today I learn that Wikipedia is indeed not a DEMOCRACY. And it makes me wonder why I even bothered to vote. But, the good thing is, I am reminded why I retired from this "Encyclopedia."

I think several Wikipedia policies need to be either re-examined or done away with. Notability indeed needs to be absolutely done away with forever. With Notability, Wikipedia will never have local articles about many small towns across America.

Wikipedia is not a democracy and never was, so that pure vote count does not determine consensus. That does not mean that the closing admin's decision is correct however but we have a process to review this decision. Regards So Why 18:43, 10 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
