Wikipedia talk:Articles for deletion/Sinai Beach
Just a question, but what exactly is "bandcruft"? Also, the band is indeed notable, having two CD releases with Victory Records. They are also notable by the fact that they have toured nationally in the US and in select locations of Europe. I also see no lack of sources on the page.
And, while it does not matter much, the user profile(?) of User:The Crying Orc, whom recommended the article deletion, states "Death to all false metal. Brothers of true metal proud and standing tall, wimps and posers leave the hall. The Crying Orc 19:36, 15 October 2006 (UTC)". Seeing how the band is metalcore, a genre often hated by "true" metal fans and often times referred to as "mallcore", also noting that it is a Christian band, a religion often targeted in some "true"(Black Metal, Death Metal, etc.) metal. This leads me to believe that the recomendation to be deleted is clearly of a malicous intent, and the user who recommended the deletion should be punished for this.
