Possible sock puppets[edit]

This is a chronology of edits by users that I think are related.

I think one possible interpretation of these edits is that User:128.151.94.192, User:Fn and User:Howeman are sock puppets of User:Alakon. - Dalbury 00:39, 6 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I'm with you on User:128.151.94.192, User:Fn and User:Alakon probably being the same individual. I don't think User:128.151.94.192 really qualifies as a sock puppet as it predates any user account. User:Fn looks like really naive sockpuppetry, not much further comment needed there. The User:Howeman account has a longer timeline. User:Howeman has no edits other than creating a userpage and participating in this AfD. If it is a sockpuppet, then it shows more cunning intentions. The weird switch to the "Brendan" tag could be a naive attempt as sockpuppetry, but hard to reconcile with the Alakon creating the account with the intention of using it as a sockpuppet. Also, Alakon's behaviour in the BHW AfD was pretty naive, hard for me to reconcile that with having the foresight to create sockpuppet accounts. Could go either way. Perhaps it's time to make a request to have Checkuser brougt to bear. Note also that while User:Fn has voted in this AfD, that neither User:Alakon nor User:Howeman have cast votes, Alakon hasn't even made an edit. The point being that even if these are all Alakon's sockpuppets, it is possible that no offical policies have been broken, but I could be wrong. Pete.Hurd 07:29, 6 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]
