Wikipedia talk:Articles for deletion/HW2: Pirates Mod

It is not the listing of mods in general that was questioned, it is the notability of them. Notability is one of the three content policies on Wikipedia; anything that isn't notable is unencyclopedic. Let me put it in this perspective: The Eclipse mod for Half-Life 2 is notable because independent news articles have been written about it; therefore an article can be written about it on Wikipedia that could pass WP:N and WP:V. If such a Homeworld 2 mod was featured in the news, then its importance wouldn't be questioned as it was. Regards, Tuxide 01:59, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
