[edit]I notice that BetaCommandBot removed a fair use image from this page. Sorry to BetaCommand, but that just doesn't count on this page, as this is a request to create an article in the main article namespace! Use some common sense for goodness sake. - Ta bu shi da yu 03:10, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
- Ive fixed it, by linking it to the image instead of showing the image. Please see WP:NFCC#9 βcommand 03:23, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
- No, you haven't fixed anything. Like I say, use some commonsense! This is a part of Wikipedia for creating articles. The material gets copied straight into the main article namespace. Sheesh. - Ta bu shi da yu 09:20, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
- I reverted, please see our POLICY and think, these have already been accepted/rejected and there is no need to display the image. Our policy strictly limits the location of non-free images. get over it. βcommand 14:24, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
- No, this is where we must use common sense. The images go straight to the main article namespace. Why don't you "get over it"? - Ta bu shi da yu 15:26, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
- The image is already in the main article namespace, because the article has already been created. We don't need to leave the image here, as nobody will look here anyway and it clearly violates the "fair use" principle. A link is enough. Melsaran (talk) 15:32, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
- I've never seen a single submission here that hasn't needed any work. If the person making the page-- or the person requesting it-- cannot take the three seconds to remove the : marks, the article probably shouldn't be created anyway. Might I remind you that a volunteer taking a few seconds of their time is a far better idea than copyright infringement. You'd have a much better case if articles for creation were new articles that were transcluded-- but if the person could create articles to transclude, they might as well make them in the article space (I have an idea to get around this, but it's not important nor for this conversation) -_lucid 15:33, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
- All right, I give up. However, what happens if Betacommandbot reverts while the article is being assessed? - Ta bu shi da yu 15:34, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
- Web pages aren't fluid. It will stay like that at least until the person loads another page --lucid 15:41, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
- Exactly what does that mean?!? - Ta bu shi da yu 15:44, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
