Semi?[edit]

I have a feeling that if I were to semi the page right now, I'd be stepping on clerk toes, or Arb toes, or "IP's are people too" toes, or toes of some kind. But once VXFC gets a bee in their bonnet they're unlikely to let go. Would it make sense to semi the main page, and allow legit IP editors to post questions here, which can be transferred over if they aren't trolls? --Floquenbeam (talk) 15:02, 27 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Eh, I went ahead and semi-protected the page, clerks or arbs are free to yell at me. --Floquenbeam (talk) 16:21, 27 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • If that's what you want--THANKS! Drmies (talk) 02:41, 28 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Would it make sense to also semi-protect the OS candidate page as well? Mkdwtalk 03:26, 28 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I've gone ahead and semi-protected Wikipedia:Arbitration Committee/CheckUser and Oversight/2016 CUOS appointments/OS as well based upon Drmies and Opabinia regalis' comments, as well as the fact the individual continued their disruption there. I should note for the purposes of openness, that 'Vote X for Change' seems very against this protection (for obvious reasons) but brought it up at User talk:86.150.12.255.
