For discussion of the voting logs, and possible instances of double-voting.

  • I seem to have accidentally re-submitted my vote. To ensure that I had selected for each candidate the option I desired, I voted a third time. Sorry for cluttering up the logs. AGK 00:31, 30 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • Query: how does that work? If one recasts, does it reset the data in the db, or are multiple records created? I presume there is a log file separate from the votes, is that a correct assumption? Thanks in advance for anyone who is knowledgeable about this tool. KillerChihuahua?!?Advice 02:03, 31 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • A new vote will replace the old vote in the log and the old vote will be grayed out on the public display (and not included in the final tally). See also Special:SecurePoll/list/60. MBisanz talk 02:05, 31 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • Actually, that wasn't quite what I meant with my question. My query is specifically, is a new record created in the db, or is there an overwrite? Its not terribly important. KillerChihuahua?!?Advice 02:09, 31 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • I've been blocked for not meeting the requirement's for voting. I tried to check my edit statistics and its said I have an error on the page. I'm rather sure I had at least 300-400 edits by Oct1. I vote for Tznkai. Stillwaterising (talk) 12:53, 8 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I can get in now; I have more like around 100. Withdrawn. - Stillwaterising (talk) 12:56, 8 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Disenfranchised voters[edit]

Observers of the election may list disenfranchised voters here for scrutineer evaluation. Disenfranchised voters are those who are banned or those who were blocked for sockpuppetry before or during the election, as well as those who were blocked throughout the course of the election.

Logged with wrong username[edit]

I notice that I seem to have been logged as "user:finnrinden" (should have been user:finnrind) - does this mean that my vote may hasn't been counted as valid? Everything looked ok when voting. Regards, Finn Rindahl (talk) 08:41, 16 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

No, your vote was fine and counted. If you look in the master log at Special:SecurePoll/list/60, you'll see it appears correctly. The alphabetic voting log was produced manually and, somehow, the "en" from "en.wikipedia.org" which appears in the next column on the election administrators log, was copied and pasted (by me) along with your user name. My apologies for any confusion arising out of this typo.  Roger Davies talk 08:49, 16 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
No problem, thanks for looking into this. Finn Rindahl (talk) 09:19, 16 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
