  • Delete. Per nominator. It's not a helpful redirect. –MJLTalk 02:51, 24 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete. No relevant target. I think we should disfavor Wikipedia:X redirects where X is a term related to something covered by a WikiProject. Someone looking for a WikiProject would include WikiProject in the search. Shortcuts are in all-caps. --Bsherr (talk) 23:00, 24 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Inappropriate cross namespace redirect. While shortcut redirects from project space to user space are useful for things like user space essays I don't see how a wikipedia space shortcut is appropriate for a standard user page. 192.76.8.86 (talk) 21:32, 23 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment Tagged for deletion under CSD U1G7. I was not aware that it would constitute an inappropriate use of the Wikipedia namespace. WP:WUAI || Speak 21:58, 23 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@WhichUserAmI You should update your signature as well. Per WP:CUSTOMSIG/P A customised signature should make it easy to identify your username. 192.76.8.86 (talk) 21:59, 23 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I raise you one It is common practice for a signature to resemble to some degree the username it represents. (Per WP:CUSTOMSIG/P) WhichUserAmI 22:17, 23 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was soft delete. Based on minimal participation, this uncontroversial nomination is treated as an expired PROD (a.k.a. "soft deletion"). Editors can request the article's undeletion. plicit 23:38, 30 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The article is only linked to in Template:IJF World Tour Düsseldorf. It is the only instance in the template which redirects to IJF World Tour, and article already linked to by the template. That is misleading and the redirect should be deleted. CLalgo (talk) 12:59, 23 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Princess George of Cumberland[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was keep. (non-admin closure) J947edits 08:14, 30 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

there's no Princess George in the media. This assumes a married husband's name/title tradition AngusW🐶🐶F (barksniff) 15:37, 15 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep. I don't know why this "assumes" a tradition of princesses using their husbands' names: the tradition unequivocally existed. It is true that since the early 18th century very few princesses have kept up the tradition, but Princess George of Cumberland was one of those few who did so. (I am old enough to remember when Princess Michael of Kent was frequently in the news, and she was always referred to by that title. She is now less in the news, but as far as I know she still uses that title, and certainly the Wikipedia article about her does. I believe she now is the only living princess to use that form of name.) JBW (talk) 13:13, 16 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed. Princess George of Cumberland was the British style she was entitled to until her husband became Duke in 1851. A3811 (talk) 19:58, 16 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep, per JBW and British princess. But it does seem like perhaps it would be a good idea for this title to be mentioned in the target article, since she did apparently use it. -- Visviva (talk) 02:31, 23 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was Procedural close as revert to previous status quo. There have been several requests below to revert to the prior status quo, which seems reasonable as that's usual convention when a bold move is disputed. Restoring the tribe as primary topic for now, and I will start a requested move.  — Amakuru (talk) 09:43, 24 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Should this point to Angles (tribe), Angles (disambiguation), or Angle? —Lights and freedom (talk ~ contribs) 00:50, 23 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Retarget to Angles (disambiguation), where many titles with this name are listed. This was previously the title of the Angles (tribe) article, but I still believe the DAB page would be a better target. CycloneYoris talk! 01:40, 23 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Leaning keep, as a clear primary plural topic. BD2412 T 05:49, 23 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Retarget to Angles (disambiguation) - If you asked me 5 seconds ago I would have thought that the Angles (tribe) would be the primary topic, but then I considered kids in geometry class, and now I'm pretty convinced that the disambiguation page is the only way to go. At least Angles (tribe) is prominently at the top of said dab (although I did have to fix said link just now). Fieari (talk) 06:55, 23 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Revert the undiscussed (as far as I can tell) move performed yesterday (ie move Angles (tribe) back to Angles). A requested move discussion should be used to determine if they are not the primary topic given this has been the status-qua for over 20 years. A7V2 (talk) 11:04, 23 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment - further, do not retarget to Angles (disambiguation), but instead move that to Angles (per WP:MALPLACED), if that is the decided course of action. A7V2 (talk) 11:06, 23 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Revert undiscussed move. The tribe still appears to be primary in my opinion. -- Fyrael (talk) 17:54, 23 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Should probably also ping the mover, PK2. -- Fyrael (talk) 17:57, 23 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
