Must respectfully disagree. Photo is an arial view, intended to show the entire grounds. An alternative photo taken by local Wikipedian would be prohibitively expensive to create. It's not a simple as snapping a picture from the sidewalk, as that would fail to represent the scope of the facility. Given that the photo uploaded was taken by a state agency, surely a fair use claim applies? --Chancemichaels 11:39, 11 June 2006 (UTC)Chancemichaels[reply]
Expensive? Not really. It just takes someone with an airplane and a camera, or a large kite and a camera, or a radio-controlled airplane and a camera. --Carnildo 03:46, 15 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Uploaded by Chakabuh. These were all uploaded as part of what appeared to be an agenda against a non-notable individual, whose article was recently deleted. These are NY state government documents that were mistagged as US-Gov-PD. While I think we would never be in any legal danger for using them, these are unused in any article and involve criminal charges against a private citizen that were for the most part dropped. The article's author kept trying to claim that the indictment for the N.Y. crime listed as "156.30" proved Bruns was convicted of computer trespass, but it's really just an indictment for software piracy (see deleted talk page history of article). Continuing to host these could only lead to further such abuses. Postdlf 16:55, 10 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Uploaded by Schyler (notify). Given under Template:GFDL-self but it is the Halo 3 announcement which was released by Microsoft and Bungie, so clearly they own the copyright. Рэдхот 17:21, 10 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Well I did put in the summary that I made it myself. I just converted it from Video to audio for my iPod and I also uploaded it. Originally I had it as from a videogame, but maybe someone misunderstood it that I 'made it myself' and changed it. I am going to change it back to videogame tag, but if it comes to a consensus that it should be deleted, do so. schyler 17:29, 10 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Uploaded by Nick Dillinger (notify). The uploader re-uploaded the image right after it being deleted. See Wikipedia:Images_and_media_for_deletion/2006_May_29#Carmen electra scary movieOrig.jpg- Abu Badali 18:29, 10 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
This is stupid, as fair use applies. Your interpretation of policy is INCORECT! Stop deleting relevant images, and I'm considering taking this case to arbitration. Help please.--Nick Dillinger 19:33, 10 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I agree in calling arbitration here, Mr. Dillinger . But make sure you will have the willingness to accept any decision the arbitration takes, and not only one that you would agree with. The screenshot image was deleted following the Wikipedia process for image deletion and you didn't accepted that. Are you really going to accept a arbitration decision against your current held opinion? --Abu Badali 21:53, 10 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
We just had an arbitration. I had put a message on Administrators' noticeboard and the image was speedied. Thanks. --Abu Badali 23:03, 10 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
