Reason

I've been sitting on this one for a bit, largely to remove any ambiguity as to its copyright status in the US. I've always thought this was a superb photograph for the period.

Probably Wikipedia:Featured pictures/People/Political, though you could certainly also argue for "Artists and writers". Given this caption on the uncropped image is explicitly about her role as President of the National Council of French Women, I'm inclined to firstly, assume that groups lobbying for changes in law are political, and secondly to say that, as this is a picture of her acting in that political role, we should use that to guide out decision.
