- Evidence
All three accounts are used for vandalism, of a suspiciously similar nature and at close times, and the usernames are similar too.
- Evidence about User:Nintendude2000: Helped User:Quade999 to vandalize Dave just three minutes later, with similar theme in the vandalism (see history) and the vandalism edit made by User:Nintendude2000 mentioned Super Smash Bros., which was then vandalized by User:Quade999. Also edited Hand rankings within three minutes of User:Quade999, edited Spider-Man and Venom: Maximum Carnage two minutes after User:Quade999 (but in these two instances cleaned up the vandalism done by User:Quade999). Also, creates speedy delete articles in similar style to User:Quade999.
- Evidence about User:Solid Snake999: Vandalized both Roar and Dave, two articles that had previously been vandalized by User:Quade999 just a few hours earlier. Also creates speedy deleted material (see Chop the Pot delete log) in same style and subject area as User:Quade999 (see Uhh Pokes delete log).
I also believe that User:Solid Snake999 was created in response to a "last warning" template left on Quade999's talk page. Mermaid from the Baltic Sea 18:52, 31 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Update: the vandalism is ongoing (see this edit history comparison as it happened again today. User:Nintendude2000 seems to have become a dormant account lately, with User:Solid Snake999 becoming dominant. Mermaid from the Baltic Sea 19:42, 2 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Comments
- These accounts are clearly the same person--they commit similar vandalism on the same handful of articles. All three are vandal-only accounts. They haven't been active since Feb 1, but should probably be blocked. --Akhilleus (talk) 00:15, 4 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Conclusions
- If problems resume, follow up at my user talk. I generally issue blocks when activity is fresher than this. DurovaCharge! 20:57, 5 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
