- Evidence
- Both accounts appeared around the conclusion of the case 96.247.37.61 (2nd).
- Sgt dizzle guy engaged in an edit war with User:Editor437, just like previous sock User:Editor347 did: [1] [2] [3] etc. vs [4] [5]
- Sgt dizzle guy makes the same unfounded accusations of CoI against me, User:Mikebe, and User:Patto1ro that the IP user and previous sock User:Editor347 did: [6] [7] [8]
- LouPepe takes up the same notability war about "x flag football" on Flag football (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) that previous sock User:Newcrewforu did: [9] [10] [11] vs [12] [13] [14]
- sgt dizzle guy is now taking part in this edit war. [15]
- both LouPepe and Sgt dizzle guy edit war on Beer style (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views), repeatedly using undo, occasionally claiming consensus [16] [17]. The IP account did the same thing. [18]
- Comments
- The case for Sgt dizzle guy being the same as the IP user is, I think, quite clear. The case for LouPepe being a sockpuppet is not as clear but the associations among all the accounts show that that user is involved somehow. All the users involved are at least superficially familiar with Wikipedia procedures and policies and engage in systematic, disruptive vendetta editing. --Killing Vector (talk) 11:37, 27 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- She has followed me around for some time -- undoing my edits -- the problem begins at Dave Zirin and an edit war there. Here are some IPs she has used to attack my good faith edits:

- I've been looking into the history at the Beer style article, and agree that there seems to be some anon sockpuppetry going on. As for this particular report, since Lou Pepe does not appear to be editing the article anymore, the charge of sockpuppetry may be moot. If edit-warring from presumed sockpuppets starts up again though, I would recommend filing a formal request at WP:RFCU to get confirmation. --Elonka 21:06, 26 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- When this was drafted, it was not added to Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets#Open cases, which explains why its been idle for so long. I'll remedy that now. – ClockworkSoul 09:45, 27 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Conclusions
likely. While the IP doesn't seem to be used any longer, both user accounts are editing the same set of articles and trying to establish "consensus". Recommend checkuser to confirm. BradV 20:22, 27 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Agree, checkuser will be useful to make sure we find all the sleeper accounts. I will transclude this case there. Jehochman Talk 02:54, 28 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Confirmed that Sgt dizzle guy (talk · contribs), LouPepe (talk · contribs), PrimeRibAssociation (talk · contribs) all operated by one editor. Relationship to 96.247.37.61 (talk · contribs) Inconclusive. Jayjg (talk) 03:35, 28 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
