Suspected sockpuppets

[edit]

Both accounts only edit 2024 Maryland's 6th congressional district election. Kagami23 has begun adding the candidacy of Chris Hyser to the article after Zeigzach1 was blocked. Checkuser is only needed if it is necessary to look for any third accounts; otherwise it is obvious. Robert McClenon (talk) 04:02, 26 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

In light of [1][2] it seems like Pgroven might be another sock. It's only one edit so I'd like to ask a CheckUser to confirm. Note that if confirmed, this case should be moved to Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Pgroven as they are the oldest account. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk) 06:22, 26 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • As far as CU is concerned, these accounts appear technically unrelated: none of their editing overlaps on an IP range, each from a different ISP. I don't see evidence of proxy/VPN use, although the tools available for detecting that aren't infallible. There could, of course, be improper off-wiki coordination going on. Closing without further action. Girth Summit (blether) 15:36, 6 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
