I was speaking to the user on Skype, where we had the following conversation:

[01/06/2009 23:54:00] Dendodge says: oh, good
[01/06/2009 23:55:43] Until It Sleeps just had to celebrate this fact by logging onto a display computer and replacing Staples Inc. with the fact that he likes pie.

The IP address to which he linked has admitted to being in a technology store.

The edit in question really did occur: diff. It was reverted numerous times, and these reverts were—themselves—reverted.

The user then attempted to prevent me from filing this report by removing his comments. However, I already had them on my clipboard.

An established user using an open IP for vandalism cannot be tolerated. Dendodge _T\^C 23:13, 1 June 2009 (UTC)

Well, having known you for a while, it would not be beyond you. I believe you, and would like to withdraw this case. I apologise for any inconvenience I have caused SPI volunteers by acting too quickly and reflexively. Dendodge _T\^C 23:18, 1 June 2009 (UTC)

• This (to me) appears to be a situation where we need to assume good faith, let Until It Sleeps (talk · contribs) know that such "jokes" are not really funny and should not happen again, and move on. That said, I welcome others comments on the matter. Tiptoety ^talk 23:19, 1 June 2009 (UTC)
