Suspected sockpuppets

Name of account is a variation on several mentioned at Category:Suspected Wikipedia sockpuppets of Surjendranil Eg. User:Editor Anirban Sen Gupta. Recreating pages that are slight name variations, like the account name, on self promotional pages that have been deleted. 220 of Borg 10:45, 2 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I am the one who made the WP:COI so I just dropped here. Wanted to mention, that I am the one who wanted the CU check. The edits are promotional and keeps coming back to the same Anirban Sen Gupta. But, we being mere users, couldn't obviously check the deleted diffs. However, we suspect it's the same. So, CU is the only way to verify. --Ankit Maity § (chatter)

Comparing User:ABSGOFC to other socks' userpages [1] [2] shows many similarities (including the photo). Also note the first three letters of the username compare to "Anirban Sengupta" infobox heading "Anirban Sengupta Official Fans Club & Official Website". It seems that the sockmaster has moved to simple.wiki as well - Rajveerabhimanyu Jayadrathindraniladitya Devegowdankur Sengupta on simple.wiki created Anirban Sengupta and Raja Sir. While I was looking around, a quick web search reveals duplicates of the article content, contained in user pages above, and where Rajveerabhimanyu Jayadrathindraniladitya Devegowdankur Sengupta on en.wiki is also confirmed (by CentralAuth) to be active and the same person as simple.wiki.
