About a year ago User:ProspectCapital submitted Draft:John F. Barry III through articles for creation. Today User:Finguru888 (who hasn't disclosed being a paid editor) created John F. Barry, which is a carbon copy of the previous draft while also creating an article on Barry's company Prospect Capital Management. This is a very clear case of WP:MEAT and also WP:UPE at the very least. GPL93 (talk) 20:27, 10 December 2019 (UTC)

- At the current AfD Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/John F. Barry, Finguru888 stated that "I was doing a research project on the company Prospect Capital Management and its CEO and wanted to try publishing it", without mentioning that an almost exact copy by ProspectCapital had been refused at AfC a year before. [edit]- It took a while to sort through the history, between the various title changes, and a histmerge. But, yeah, clearly Finguru888 copy-pasted a saved copy of the deleted version from ProspectCapital. Blocked and tagged. -- RoySmith (talk) 23:19, 12 December 2019 (UTC)
