Suspected sockpuppets[edit]

All three editors have recently begun editing Academies at Englewood, making similar edits to the article which were nearly all marked as "minor" edits (although they weren't). They have all edited in the article's Talk page putting forth the same views, often within only a few minutes of one another (e.g., Minitena22's comment followed two minutes later by a similar comment from Pmmp1234, Aminsi22's comment followed two minutes later by a similar comment from Pmmp1234). Two of these editors, Pmmp1234 and Aminsi22, have considerable overlap in the articles that they edit e.g., Bergen County Academies, Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology; Aminsi22 has only edited Talk:Academies at Englewood to support the edits of the other editors. Suspected sockpuppets[edit]

New user joined after Pmmp1234's sockpuppetry block to add the same material to Academies at Englewood. Compare HyunLee1234's recent edit with additions made by Pmmp1234 and their socks.

Article protection would also be useful, since the socks focus almost solely on the article. — MarkH21talk 04:05, 12 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  •  Clerk note: The timing of when the sock account was created vs when the master was blocked, the writing style, and several other behavioral aspects all add up. Blocked and tagged. I'm going to hold off with any page protection for now, but it's certainly a possibility if more socks show up. -- RoySmith (talk) 01:53, 18 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Suspected sockpuppets[edit]

Same editing behavior as the previous socks on Academies at Englewood and Bergen County Academies with the same singular focus and rhetoric, only appearing after the last block. — MarkH21talk 21:15, 21 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  •  Clerk note: Blocked and tagged sock, the IP looks at least semi-static, so 1 month. I'll throw some semi protections around too. -- RoySmith (talk) 21:29, 21 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Suspected sockpuppets[edit]

Static IP focused on restoring details (e.g. school rankings, school publications, school funding) to Academies at Englewood that were previously added by Pmmp1234 socks. Same technical data as previously blocked IP (69.113.64.54 (talk · contribs · WHOIS)) from the archives. — MarkH21talk 03:18, 11 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • I'm not seeing any strong evidence of socking here. An IP in Lodi and an IP in Teaneck were both editing an article about a school in Englewood (these are all towns near each other in Northern NJ). Nothing surprising there. Closing with no action taken. -- RoySmith (talk) 19:22, 17 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Suspected sockpuppets[edit]

New account's second edit reinstates earlier edits that have been the focus of Pmmp1234's various socks and refers directly to the sockpuppetry (diff). Compare with the most recent activity in September 2021 (diff) and November 2020 (diff). — MarkH21talk 22:27, 2 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Closing with no action taken. There's not really enough to block on here, plus none of these accounts have edited in several weeks, so it's hard to argue that a block would be serving a purpose to stop ongoing disruption. We can always come back and take another looks later if they start being disruptive again. -- RoySmith (talk) 22:01, 16 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
