Suspected sockpuppets

Mohsin17 was blocked by MaxSem on 19:59, 24 November 2015 for disruption. After a series of unsuccessful unblock requests, new user account Saudzz (talk · contribs) was created on 19:55, 13 December 2015 and has since resumed editing the same target articles in the same fashion, with intersecting interests in skyscrapers, architecture, and Karachi-related articles. [1][2] In this case I am requesting a CheckUser to determine if this is in fact block evasion or a matter of coincidence. Please do not hesitate to contact me if there are any questions or concerns. As for being related to Mohsin17, the results are a bit  Inconclusive. You'll have to rely on behavioral evidence. Mike VTalk 00:41, 22 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Additional information needed - @Yamaguchi先生: Since the result is inconclusive, can you provide some more evidence (especially diffs) about their connection? Vanjagenije (talk) 22:22, 30 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you Vanjagenije, et al for your assistance, please go ahead and close this case at this time. I will re-open should additional evidence come forward at a later date. Regards, Yamaguchi先生 (talk) 22:28, 30 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Suspected sockpuppets

Muhammad Mohsin Farooq was blocked by Singularity42 on 13:44, 14 September 2013 for repeated copyright violations.[3] Weeks later on 11:28, 9 October 2013, the account Mohsin17 was created[4] and continued to pursue the exact same groups of articles, exhibiting all of the same patterns and interactions as Muhammad Mohsin Farooq.

A CheckUser is not requested at this time, as both accounts are blocked. This is being documented here as a formality, evidence that this user has a history of block evasion. I defer to the CheckUser administrators on how to best proceed with this information. Regards, Yamaguchi先生 (talk) 21:12, 8 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • information Administrator note User compare report does show a high degree of crossover. Creation of accounts is also suspicious. There's nothing here at SPI that can be done beyond behavioural evidence so it'll be logged in the archive if this becomes a long term abuse case. Mkdwtalk 06:30, 9 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
