Suspected sockpuppets [edit]

Evidence submitted by Falcon Kirtaran [edit]

These accounts seem to show an unusual amount of interest in what appear to be vanity articles about a man and his company, to the exclusion of any other topic, in a very sequential manner. Nothing seems to differentiate one of these from another. To be more specific, these accounts have only contributed to those pages, and are very nearly the only contributors to those pages, and do so in a pattern suggesting one was created, used for a while, and then discontinued in favour of the next one. Note that User:Lebronsucks23 is blocked, but the block is due only to the choice of username. --Falcon Darkstar Momot (talk) 02:10, 17 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Comments by other users [edit]
  • Not a sockpuppet - procedural comment: innocent until proven guilty. —Preceding unsigned comment added by T3h 1337 b0y (talkcontribs)
    • I think the only definitive way to get to the bottom of this is a checkuser request, but I don't know if there is a way to make that happen. Notwithstanding, the behaviour seems highly indicative; do you have any suggestions for more proof? --Falcon Darkstar Momot (talk) 02:05, 17 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Clerk, patrolling admin and checkuser comments [edit]

Clerk endorsed – How I see it, they're all editing the same article but differently, so this is not open-and-shut as far as editing behaviors/patterns are concerned. You have one user removing content and references, you have another user going ape on the related Minyanville article, you you have another user switching out a reference with another (I haven't read it to see if for better or worse, though). –MuZemike 23:55, 18 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Confirmed there is socking/meatpuppetry occurring. Jdicker (talk · contribs) is also related. KnightLago (talk) 02:51, 20 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
