Suspected sockpuppets

Account created on 2 Feb 2014, goes straight to Orthodox Presbyterian Church and argues with and reverts StAnselm from the start. Katsa54's account is created on 8 Feb 2014 and goes straight to the same page and takes the same side. Then Katsa54 attacks some super-obscure article by StAnselm, John Calvin's view of Scripture, which had not been edited since October 2013 before yesterday. Katsa54 does wholesale reversions, making semiplausible claims of OR, but refusing to discuss and refusing to accept any of StAnselm's additions of secondary sources, to the point where Katsa54 gets itself blocked for edit warring. After Katsa54 is blocked, Mg3942 and the IP show up and take up the same battle on this very obscure article with the same style of wholesale reverts, nonspecific accusations of "original research" and, not only that, but the same flawed style of indentation for their talk page comments, making it seem very likely that they're all the same user. Given the recency of the two named accounts, it seems likely that actually both are socks of some more established user, but I don't know right now who that might be. — alf laylah wa laylah (talk) 14:50, 9 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Diffs of Katsa54's relevant edits can be found in the WP:EWN discussion: Wikipedia:EWN#User:Katsa54_reported_by_User:StAnselm_.28Result:_Blocked.29. I will supply more diffs if requested, but they can be seen easily in the recent history of the pages involved. This is not a subtle case:

Note: I added 31.6.19.102 because in this edit, this IP responds to my response to 185.29.167.132 and uses the same idiosyncratic indentation style and spelling of "St Anselm."— alf laylah wa laylah (talk) 17:08, 9 February 2014 (UTC) — alf laylah wa laylah (talk) 15:01, 9 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

@Kudpung:: Mg3942 essentially admits on Talk:John Calvin's view of Scripture that those are all his/her edits. Regardless, the real question is about Katsa54, because those two named accounts are supporting one another's edits on that article.— alf laylah wa laylah (talk) 16:58, 10 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Accused parties may also comment/discuss in this section below. See Defending yourself against claims.

I am not using Sockpuppets. alf laylah wa laylah has it out for me for insisting that Wikipedia's policy against Original Research be enforced fairly and evenly. I work at a place in which we rotate computers all the time. A few times I have forgotten to sign in when I get to a new computer. This is not sockpuppetry. If you view the talk page on "John Calvin's View of Scripture" you will get a good sense of what is going on. alf laylah wa laylah is trying to rub out any voice that disagrees with him/her. alf laylah wa laylah hates original research when it disagrees with her, but has no problem with it when it confirms her biases. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mg3942 (talkcontribs) 11:20, 10 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Clerk, CheckUser, and/or patrolling admin comments[edit]
  •  Clerk endorsed - to confirm socking. The master's edit matches the sock's edit. Additionally, edit summaries are telling.
