 Sounds like a duck quacking into a megaphone to me. Sockmaster is repeatedly inserting information into the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim article that is POV at best, while being combative on his talk page and not discussing on the article talk page, merely repeatedly reinserting the edits and has been calling those who remove it vandals and threatening to report them (and also calling them "dodger and giant fans", but that's another kettle of fish). The sock has been involved in attempting to keep the same information in the article. The IP has been doing the same and is likely the logged-out IP, and appears to be a static IP. Second IP is an older one, likely the same. Request CU for a solid confirmation on the named account. - The Bushranger One ping only 04:59, 27 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

    • Sure. Here is the IP. Here's one edit by Marksanta. Note the phrase "widely mistaken" is inserted in both revisions to try to combine the history of the MLB franchise with that of the PCL franchise. – Muboshgu (talk) 13:58, 22 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

        • I have only looked at the one diff, but the IP made an undo. You can't hold the wording restored in the undo against the IP.

These are both loudly quacking ducks of User:173.51.143.137, who is in turn a confirmed IPsock (as much as IPsocks are ever confirmed) of Marksanta123. Repeatedly battling to include information against consensus in the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim article, to the point of demanding that fans of the Yankees be forbidden from editing the page, issuing legal threats when blocked, and saying that Wikipedia:Edit requests says Wikipedia is a democracy. Both IPs blocked a month for obvious block evasion (both of the original indef and the still-active block of the previous IP for WP:BE and WP:NLT) and WP:COMPETENCE, listed here for the record.
