Similar edit style and content, poor English and similar misuse of sources. I've suspected this for some time but today's edits at Matriarchy , Minoan civilization and Yangshao culture have pretty much convinced me. Checkuser can confirm as we have IP addresses. Thanks for reopening this. As well as editing similar types of articles, the times of editing seem very similar - Jackiestud was from Brazil. I'm off to bed now but will delve a bit more tomorrow. Dougweller (talk) 21:45, 29 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Any investigation into edits should include the IPs used, see above and 187.21.142.164 (talk · contribs), clearly one that was missed (same type of edits/articles, Brazil). Dougweller (talk) 10:01, 30 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
This edit [1] shows her using a source in Portuguese - Jackiestud is from Brazil and edits or did edit the Portuguese wiki (the edit summary is a bit bizarre as no one had removed any Cambridge reference). Dougweller (talk) 21:52, 3 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunately, the accounts in the archive are  Stale and checkuser cannot publicly link named accounts to IPs. Behavioral evidence will need to be the deciding factor. TNXMan 15:31, 28 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  •  Clerk note: Following a discussion I had with Dougweller, I'm reopening this case. He feels it was prematurely closed (and archived), and actually posted a comment on the archive page twenty minutes after it was archived. I've copied it above so all can see. As to the case itself, there is a fair amount of overlap in their edit patterns, and there is other behavioral evidence that makes me think it may be the same editor. — HelloAnnyong (say whaaat?!) 21:20, 29 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I think this is worth investigating. I've had some experience solving the problems caused by Jackiestud. I took a look at this latest editor's contributions and even at first glance I had a strong hunch this was Jackie. --Folantin (talk) 10:53, 30 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Lorynote (talk · contribs) was just blocked as a sock of Jackiestud (talk · contribs) (case not yet archived). Clearly a sock, IP geolocates to[2], same as other Jackiestud IPs, eg [3] - Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Jackiestud. I don't know if CU is absolutely required here given that the IPs are so similar, as are the edits. I would like to see this added to the Jackiestud archive along with Lorynote. Thanks.
