Humbert1 dug up some unflattering material about a Kennedy School prof named Jennifer Lerner, even uploading a pdf to Commons of an NSF report about her. Two minor incidents, which he described in a way to cast maximal shadows on Lerner .. Humbert1 was asked to stop edit-warring stuff that violates WP:BLP and WP:WEIGHT into the piece, refused, and was tempblocked. Once off temp block, he did the edits again and got indef blocked on Nov 1. On Nov. 14, a new account was created, made a bunch of random edits to avoid looking like an SPA, put all the dirt back into the Lerner bio, and stopped editing Wikipedia forever. I think these are the same person, and would like to see Enuch blocked also, preferably with account creation also blocked for whatever machine he comes from. betsythedevine (talk) 04:23, 19 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please unclose the investigation as yet another SPA has added the same changes:

I guess we can only hope this person will run out of computers to start new accounts from. Thanks! betsythedevine (talk) 21:20, 19 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Very motivated sockmaster, actively editwarring with latest account (Asakharov=sock3) within hours after sock2=Enuch got blocked. Here is the backstory on sock1 and sock2, copied from previous now-closed SPI:

Humbert1 dug up some unflattering material about a Kennedy School prof named Jennifer Lerner, even uploading a pdf to Commons of an NSF report about her. Two minor incidents, which he described in a way to cast maximal shadows on Lerner .. Humbert1 was asked to stop edit-warring stuff that violates WP:BLP and WP:WEIGHT into the piece, refused, and was tempblocked. On Nov. 14, a new account was created, made a bunch of random edits to avoid looking like an SPA, put all the dirt back into the Lerner bio, and stopped editing Wikipedia forever.

Please block, please protect the article, and please do not close SPI until this person stops fielding new socks! Thanks. betsythedevine (talk) 22:06, 19 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
