Targetig the same articles/topics (Ben Slimane, Banu Hilal), approximative English & WP:HOUND. Also, Hmei7 (talk · contribs) is editing, here on EN.WP, on the same articles than those that he 'vandalized' on FR.WP (Bedawi Arabic, Varieties of Arabic, Maghrebi Arabic, Hilalian dialects)
Note that the same user (Ghassul) caused major damage to the French Wikipedia, where other SPs related to the same account were found: accounts (not (yet) used on EN.WP) R00tkit67 (talk · contribs) & Alwaleed (talk · contribs), and IPs 79.94.11.43 (talk · contribs · WHOIS) & 78.115.176.119 (talk · contribs · WHOIS), and where 82.225.47.229 (talk · contribs · WHOIS) was confirmed as belonging to him (FR RCU no.1 & FR RCU no.2)
Regards,

Good. My contributions does not bother anyone, but you. You contribute anyhow, and you impose wherever you go. For starters, we're on the English Wikipedia and not French. While contributing in harmony with us, and do not bring your habits here lol. [1] is [2]]in English. This is your contribution. I did that back! Stop hiding behind your fine words, we know you now. I agree that it's a sock. Note the same edits on Ben Slimane (Ghassul, Hmei7), Morocco (Ghassul, Hmei7, and Chaouia-Ouardigha (Ghassul, Hmei7). As well, the overlapping interests are too much to ignore. I've blocked the account and blocked the fr.wiki checkuser confirmed accounts too. Mike VTalk 23:23, 15 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

User YZYZYZ is an obvious duck, targeting and edit-warring on the same articles (Banu Hilal, Bedouin, Sétif, Bedawi Arabic & Template:Varieties of Arabic), re-adding the same information on these articles.

IP 82.225.47.229 has been "forgotten" on by the previous RCU, but it has been confirmed as belonging to Ghassul by a RCU on French WP.

Note that this SPI page had been previously vandalized by IP 82.225.47.229. Omar-toons (talk) 15:06, 28 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

BFKTR's first edit was to create Aroubi people about Hilalian tribes, with obvious prior knowledge of WP editing on first draft: [3]. Commences an immediate edit war over maintenance templates and AFD, ranting each time in the edit summary about others' wrongdoing in stilted English: [4], [5], [6], [7], etc. Tries to blank the AFD: [8]. When that fails, he switches to new sock account User:Yasou3 to create clone article Aroubi dialect (see below) . Meanwhile, first sock BFKTR does his usual on Banu Hilal: [9], and Benslimane: [10], [11]. Dai Pritchard (talk) 22:41, 12 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Yasou3 created Aroubi dialect minutes after I unblanked the AFD for Aroubi people. Yasou3 admits that he's a sockpuppet of BKFTR in this edit: [12], muttering incoherently about "getting even" with me for my "vandalism" of nominating for AFD. He then gets straight to work on Moroccan Arabic: [13], Hejazi Arabic: [14], Najdi Arabic: [15], Hilalian dialects: [16], and Moroccan people: [17]. Rounds off his night's work by creating Sub-Atlantic plains, another unsourced theory of his about the origins of the Banu Hilal, with a link to Aroubi dialect. Dai Pritchard (talk) 22:50, 12 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

User:82.225.47.229 was already tagged in the last SPI on 3 March, but for some reason was not blocked. Still very much active today on the same articles as the above socks: Hilalian dialects: [18], Banu Hilal: [19], Pre-Hilalian Arabic dialects: [20], and Template:Varieties of Arabic: [21]. A CU might show that it's linked to the above two socks, or reviewing admins might just opt for WP:DUCK. Dai Pritchard (talk) 23:01, 12 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The following day, he spent an hour creating a raft of unreferenced articles on Arabic dialects and Moroccan history: Eastern Hilalian Arabic dialects, Central Hilalian Arabic dialects, Maqil Arabic dialects, Pre-Hilalian Urban Arabic dialects, Eastern pre-Hilalian Village dialects, Sahel Arabic, Ouled Zyan, Ouled Sidi Ben Daoud, Ouled Hariz, Oulad Saïd (tribe), Oulad Bou Ziri, Oulad Ali (tribe), Zenata (Chaouia tribe), Mzamza, Mdakra, Lachache, despite a polite warning on his talk page, followed by a firm warning when he ignored it. In between two of these, he paused to re-add reverted sock WP:OR edits to Chaouia (Morocco): [22]. Compare to Special:Contributions/82.225.47.229 edits in February: [23], [24]. Dai Pritchard (talk) 11:13, 13 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Once the IP address gets unblocked after one week, the IP address starts creating sock after sock. In other words if the IP address is not permanently blocked Ghassul will continue this cat and mouse game, with no end in sight. George Al-Shami (talk) 02:36, 14 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Targeting the same articles than Ghassul + checked as a sockpuppet of Ghassul on the French Wikipedia (see here and here). -- Omar-toons (talk) 09:23, 13 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Ghassul is back, once his sock [[25]] got blocked on October 16, 2015, 14 days later he creates his latest sock ⵓⵛⵛⴻⵏ. And on October 30, 3015 the latest sock starts targeting the same articles as the previous socks did.

I can add the diffs on the Arabs article if that's needed, please let me know. George Al-Shami (talk) 22:39, 19 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This edit was made with the current sock ⵓⵛⵛⴻⵏ 1, the current sock made another similar edit 2 and then again 3. The older sock, שמואל יצחק יעקב, had made a similar edit on September 27, 2015 4 George Al-Shami (talk) 23:06, 21 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Vanjagenije and Mike-V: is there any bug then this case doesn't show up on the main WP:SPI list? Is it because of the Berber script? --Omar-toons (talk) 16:05, 21 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I think because I didn't file the SPI report properly by using the SPI page, however I just filed it properly and it's still not showing up on the SPI page. George Al-Shami (talk) 23:15, 21 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
The case will not show on the WP:SPI page if there is no {{SPI case status}} template on the page. Vanjagenije (talk) 23:24, 21 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Also compare the following: [26] vs. [27]. Eperoton (talk) 23:26, 21 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Elockid: An IP user (159.0.47.69) in now going wild blanking some of the same content on Arabs. The same user? Eperoton (talk) 15:53, 22 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
