Suspected sockpuppets

Both are single issue new accounts trying to circumvent WP:UKNATIONALS (ie. WP:Verify) by building a bogus "consensus" at Talk:John Logie Baird and Talk:Alexander Fleming. User:Tmbrln, with only 4 edits, is a blatant sock creation by User:Flagators (only 26 edits, with 100% of article edits being on Baird + Fleming. Note: brought to SPI upon the suggestion of Admin User:John, who has previously had to deal with this user. Mais oui! (talk) 21:45, 12 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Clerk, CheckUser, and/or patrolling admin comments[edit]
  • CheckUser requested - Self-endorsed by clerk for checkuser attention - One account is backing up the edits of the other on the talk page[1] (plus 2 identical reverts) and [2], which is a bit weak. Comparing actual talk page edits [3] and [4] makes a stronger case. There is a possibility it could be meatpuppetry, and these diffs by themselves make it difficult to duck block, however. Requesting and endorsing for CU to shed just a little more light. Dennis Brown - © Join WER 00:14, 13 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Technically indistinguishable. Tiptoety talk 01:15, 13 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • No shocker, but the CU helps with so few edits, so thank you. Blocked and tagged. Closing. Dennis Brown - © Join WER 01:19, 13 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
