Suspected sockpuppets[edit]

Recreating Draft:A-TEEM in similar promotional copyvio form to that created by Horibascientific two weeks ago. It is not an exact copy, this version adds oddly formatted citations (as text) inside of the text that is to a large extent copied from company's web page.

Horibascientific is indef spam blocked, so this isn't only a username violation issue. Eostrix  (🦉 hoot hoot🦉) 10:03, 25 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Probably socks, and if not, then certainly UPE. There's no way somebody with the mastery of English and wiki formatting who wrote Charles Bethea is the same person who wrote Draft:DealHouse, so clearly just a front for other content creators. Blocked and tagged. -- RoySmith (talk) 23:50, 9 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Suspected sockpuppets[edit]

Recreation of Draft:A-TEEM, which was done by both Fatima.Innovative and Horibascientific. Fatima.Innovative and Audreyhamilton36 both primarily use the visual editor and give off UPE vibes. CU for sleepers given that this account only created Draft:A-TEEM after the block of Fatima.Innovative. Pahunkat (talk) 20:40, 10 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Found while checking Annaspencer13 while responding to Wikipedia:Conflict_of_interest/Noticeboard#WP:DUCK_UPE. These are all  Confirmed to the Fatima.Innovative group. I believe it's possible that there are multiple people behind the keyboard, but technical evidence ties these accounts together quite strongly. • Drmies, I see you upgraded to a CU block right as I filed this, guessing you saw the same thing I did. Any thoughts here? I'm inclined to block all of the accounts listed above. GeneralNotability (talk) 01:07, 10 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
    • Ha, GeneralNotability, I think I just pinged you from the other SPI. Also, interesting: User:Ahsandidx is on the same range and could be called a technical match. Note that they declared a COI for something called DIDX. If it is judged that Draft:Ahsan Saleem, which Ahsandidx and User:Risingstarpk both worked on, has any resemblance to the drafts produced by these socks, then we may widen this a bit. Drmies (talk) 01:21, 10 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
    • Drmies, I'm inclined to call them unrelated to this particular farm; different technical fingerprint and (imo) much less sophisticated spam. GeneralNotability (talk) 01:42, 10 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
      • OK--that's fine; honestly I hadn't looked at the drafts yet, and I think I meant "technical" a bit more loosely. Drmies (talk) 01:45, 10 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Closing. -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (she/they) 18:02, 12 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Suspected sockpuppets[edit]

The only edits made by SilentM 001 are to Draft:Alice Jacobs. This draft was also edited by Annaspencer13, who has been blocked for undisclosed paid editing. SilentM 001 appears to be both another undisclosed paid editor and a sockpuppet. Request CheckUser also to look for other socks editing other articles. This is all linked to Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Fatima.Innovative. Confirmed and blocked: User:A.Thousand.Wishes, User:SilentM_001, User:Annaspencer13, User:Shanewatson2, User:Fivesenses7879, User:Dave7947, User:Fatima etc., and User:Abdullah Digiliate. Pinging GeneralNotability, who dropped a block or two. One of these, 1000 Wishes, disclosed a COI--but that's too little, too late. Drmies (talk) 01:11, 10 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Re-tagged master as confirmed; tagged two outstanding sox. Closing. -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (she/they) 18:02, 12 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Ran a check on Charlette based on their claimed affiliation with Digilate, since other socks in this farm have been associated with them. Charlette9 is  Confirmed to Fatima.Innovative and several others from the farm. However, I know that I can be a little...aggressive...in my anti-UPE stance, so I'd rather someone else take a look and block if appropriate. • Godsentme1 may or may not be related to the previous socks (personally I suspect they aren't directly connected in a way that CU could prove), but the account has been indef blocked for other reasons already. Trainsandotherthings (talk) 19:51, 24 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Suspected sockpuppets[edit]

Same pattern of unreported paid editing and copyvios. Account was set up a few days after last sock, Annaspencer13, was blocked. Some of the first editing was on Draft talk:Tony Vázquez-Figueroa, which is the talk page of the page Annaspencer13 created. Annaspencer13 finally kind of admitted to paid editing, and Dianarossok put a paid editing disclaimer on the talk page.

Additionally, Dianarossok edited Prive Jets, which was previously edited by another Fatima.Innovative puppet.— rsjaffe 🗣️ 04:15, 15 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
