Suspected sockpuppets

I had a look at this when JusticeAccount3, an account named as though it's a returning user, began restoring content that CreepyStepdad had added about a month earlier; compare CreepyStepdad's [1] with JusticeAccount3's [2], [3], [4]. This was obvious enough for me to block the account.

Upon further investigation I found that Dominic Pringle was indeffed after an ANI report where several of their edits were highlighted in which they were adding highly specific biographical info of an editorial nature to various articles. They later explained that they decided on their own that one month was long enough to wait to be unblocked, and so they "took matters into [their] own hands" and created CreepyStepdad, and went right back to the exact same sort of edits. JusticeAccount3 was created almost precisely one more month after that and also resumed the same behaviour. Reviewing the three accounts' contribs will show a remarkably obvious pattern.

  • While there is a long enough gap in time for the case to be stale, JusticeAccount3 is  Likely based on information from the past checks on Dominic Pringle. CreepyStepdad was already determined to be  Confirmed. All of the accounts are  Blocked and tagged. Ivanvector (Talk/Edits) 20:55, 23 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
