Suspected sockpuppets

Ceravantes created the articles Alice Walsh and Florence "Diamond Flossie" Reilly via Articles for Creation. User:Shortie2349 was inactive since January of 2011 before approving Alice Walsh and one other submission. Theoddpassenger has no other edits besides reviewing the AFC for Alice Walsh, and Robertmuse has only a handful of edits outside the two above articles. Rxg360 was inactive from 2010, before making a single edit on Alice Walsh.

This combined behavior leads me to believe that they are the same person, and have abused/bypassed the AFC process. Falcon8765 (TALK) 06:43, 29 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Accused parties may also comment/discuss in this section below. See Defending yourself against claims.

I go between editing at school and home. I live very close to my university so if the IPs register as nearby to each other, that's why. I worked on the articles as part of a class project. My group and I were researching the connection between Raines Law and the murders of prostitues in New York City. I found it interesting that Walsh had been linked to Jack the Ripper and thought it was worth adding.

Clerk, CheckUser, and/or patrolling admin comments[edit]

I'm very much inclined to agree.

  • Shortie2349 is  Confirmed with Theoddpassenger.
  • Rxg360 is  Confirmed with Robotmuse, and it is very  Likely they are related to them.
  • Ceravantes edits from a residential IP. All the others edit from an external institution very near to him. I believe it's very  Likely that all these accounts are operated by the same individual. WilliamH (talk) 13:59, 29 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • information Administrator note I see sufficient basis to block all these accounts indefinitely. I also tagged the accounts, and will mark this case for closure. AGK [•] 22:46, 29 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
