these accusations are in bad faith because i was involved in edit-warring with this user...i dont use sock puppets, all my edits are pretty obvious even the ones i did before registering with ip Baboon43 (talk) 09:11, 28 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Clerk, CheckUser, and/or patrolling admin comments[edit]

Check declined by a checkuser: The accounts are  Stale so there's nothing to compare to. Secondly, per WMF's privacy policy, CUs are generally not allowed to publicly link accounts to IPs. Please be sure to add some supporting evidence and include some diffs to support your case. Thanks. Focusing on Baboon43 only, it doesn't look like there was an intent to sock per their explanation. With regards to Baboon43 (talk+ · tag · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · spi block · block log · CA · CheckUser(log· investigate · cuwiki) who claims that his / her IP address changes "constantly." If that is the case then why 70.54.66.158 (talk+ · tag · contribs · filter log · WHOIS · RBLs · proxy check · block user · spi block · block log · cross-wiki contribs · CheckUser (log)) shows up as static (See here). Thank you. AmandaParker (talk) 19:52, 25 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Since Baboon43 (talk+ · tag · contribs · filter log · WHOIS · RBLs · proxy check · block user · spi block · block log · cross-wiki contribs · CheckUser (log)) is still claiming to be a "newbie" and "naive", please, check the following edits:
They are all the same and done by the very same user (sock-puppets?). AmandaParker (talk) 11:45, 26 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • This case should be closed. I still have Al-Ahbash on my watchlist and will hopefully notice any unusual editing there. I don't understand why very old accounts (from 2006) such as Leyasu and Cronodevir were included in the above list by the submitter of the SPI. Cronodevir did post something at Talk:Al-Ahbash in 2006 which you can still see there but investigating any connection would hardly have any practical benefit. If sockish IPs cause any problem then Al-Ahbash can be put under semiprotection. EdJohnston (talk) 04:56, 31 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
