  • Question - I never attempted to evade scrutiny and I was about to link Stewart of Appin to my other account. I knew that a check user would see it's me which is why it is ludicrous that you suggest that I was trying to evade scrutiny. You have blocked me from defending my self from these charges so I had to use another IP. Firstly, the account Arfæst Ealdwrítere never explicitly revealed his IP address - YOU did that here in direct violation of wikipedia's privacy policies for which I demand an apology. Second, why have you blocked Stewart of Appin which is a good contributor to Wikipedia? Thirdly, in what circumstances would I be allowed to edit again? Indefinite does not mean forever yet as I said there is no possible way for me to appeal for a second chance. Surely it will not apply in 50 years time when I have matured, will it? Anyway, you have forced a wikipedian off the project. Perhaps you should look at how you conducted yourself in displaying my location, not to mention my previous username which I changed because it gave too much away and I feared for my safety. I have no guarantees that someone will use the information that you gave them to hurt or kill me off wiki. I did a lot more good than harm - and this is all I get in response? Typical of Wikipedia! At least have the decency to answer my questions. Also should you decide against me please blank everything from every accounts for my safety and privacy. 129.234.0.22 (talk) 21:57, 24 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Clerk, CheckUser, and/or patrolling admin comments[edit]
  • This is a case of good hand, bad hand editing, and then socking to evade scrutiny. Several disruptive and vandalizing edits from the IP address above are  Confirmed to Arfæst Ealdwrítere (talk · contribs). I have disclosed the IP address as the user already disclosed it themselves while getting mixed up with the editing. The story that his account was hacked does not hold up to checkuser data. Edits from the IP before last night, within minutes switched from vandalism from 129.234.0.30 to productive editing under alt account DJAMP4444 (talk · contribs) with the exact same useragent. Today, brand new user Stewart of Appin (talk · contribs) showed up on the IP address. This is also  Confirmed to Arfæst Ealdwrítere (talk · contribs).  IP blocked. I authorize administrators dealing with this case to modify, but not remove the block or any of it's conditions such as hardblocks. They can add more restrictions as they wish. I will leave the ultimate decision about the duration of the block up to the admin handling the case. -- DQ (ʞlɐʇ) 20:48, 24 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • I've blocked the Stewart of Appin account indefinitely. Given this users most recent socking and disruption (see edit history of Stewart of Appin and 129.234.0.22), I feel that an indefinite block of the master account is most appropriate for now. All of the accounts have been blocked and tagged. Mike VTalk 02:30, 25 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
