Mudaliar (5th)[edit]

The Mudaliar (talk+ · tag · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log · CA · CheckUser(log· investigate · cuwiki) is the original editor and was banned by arbitration committee. The decision to ban Mudaliar (talk+ · tag · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log · CA · CheckUser(log· investigate · cuwiki) was done here.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Requests_for_arbitration/Mudaliar-Venki123

This user seems to be now appearing in multiple IP addresses. All the edits of these multiple IP addresses show only reusing of the same references in the same sentence structure used by Mudaliar (talk+ · tag · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log · CA · CheckUser(log· investigate · cuwiki).

All these users have either exclusively worked on articles Mudaliar, Sengunthar and Devadasi or made trivial changes to other articles. I suspect that they are all sockpuppets of Mudaliar (talk+ · tag · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log · CA · CheckUser(log· investigate · cuwiki) even though the IP addresses are different.

Proofs

Further I was able to connect Mudaliar (talk · contribs) with these IP addresses as I observed the following anomalies Mudaliar (talk · contribs) in his edits, has stated that

What is surprising is all the independent editors coming via multiple IP addresses are using

  • same sentence "..Pathetic" without any change
  • and same reference "..sjofreeaccess" without checking if the link is valid.

Apparently it is a clear case of an old banned editor coming back with new multiple IP addresses and copying and pasting his old junk and vandalizing articles. I request to ban all editors and restore the articles to previous versions before the reappearance of the banned editor. They are also involved in vandalism and 3RR via multiple IP addresses. Further the technique followed by Mudaliar (talk · contribs) should be identified and proper preventive measures against such vandalisms should be taken.

I also consider Mudaliar (talk+ · tag · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log · CA · CheckUser(log· investigate · cuwiki) via various methods of sock puppetry would not hesitate to repeat his malicious edits in the future. Some kind of protection to the articles with edit rights to select responsible users is also warranted.

Thank you

I have added a new IP address 65.97.250.141 (talk+ · tag · contribs · filter log · WHOIS · RBLs · proxy check · block user · block log · cross-wiki contribs · CheckUser (log)). This user has made no valid edits on wikipedia except for a request for check user and seems to be the new master user id. This user asked for his contribs in his message below. After that he has edited the articles to the same version as some of the IP addresses. So I am listing his recent contribs. [3] [4] [5].From his edits and messages, I now think that this user is the master puppeteer of all the IP addresses.

Trivial edits and other vandalism by these IP addresses to create an impression of multiple independent users

It is MarkPC (talk · contribs) who has been edit-warring and was warned by multiple editors and admins. He almost got banned but somehow seems to have slipped through the net. MarkPC (talk · contribs) is definitely a sock of a banned user Mudaliar (talk · contribs)/ Venki123 (talk · contribs) (see [36]) who has been making disruptive edits to article Devadasi. This id has been created for the sole purpose of edit-warring: a quick review of his contributions would reveal this. He is now attempting to falsely relate me to random edits. He has picked out various editors and is claiming that they're all related to me. So you mean to say that users like MarkPC (talk · contribs) can crawl wikipedia for random ips and then somehow try to relate them to other genuine editors. This is ridiculous. Moreover, he is lying above when he says that "..What is surprising is all the independent editors coming via multiple IP addresses are using *same sentence "..Pathetic" without any change, *and same reference "..sjofreeaccess" without checking if the link is valid.... WHERE HAVE I PROVIDED THESE REFERENCES that he claims I have posted? POST MY CONTRIBUTIONS. Youonlylivetwice (talk) 16:44, 20 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
This is a checkuser. If anybody's login is involved then they will be banned. My case was cleared by admins. MarkPC (talk) 01:13, 22 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
MarkPC (talk · contribs) again edit-warring on article Devadasi and is trying a bit too hard to push his view. Please see his contributions which are all reverts [37], [38], [39], [40], [41], [42], [43], [44] and still counting. See the most recent ones: [45], [46]. Youonlylivetwice (talk) 15:28, 22 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Youonlylivetwice has proved himself to be the master puppeteer of all these IP addresses listed above. He did a check user on me, and in that he states that he is just a passive user [47] Now, he is very active in reverting the changes I did on article Devadasi as shown [48]. He is also done some additional reverts at Sengunthar [49] and Mudaliar [50]. The versions he has reverted to are the same as those of the above IP addresses. In the meanwhile a new IP address 220.225.0.125 has reverted the article Devadasi.

MarkPC (talk) 01:36, 23 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

MarkPC (talk · contribs) is playing a double game. He has been reverting and edit-warring constantly on Devadasi from day one. Just look at his contributions. He has also made multiple edits via his sock Saedirof (talk · contribs) and via open proxies under the alias Redlance (talk · contribs). It was I who figured that it was the same user and asked for a check user. Initially MarkPC (talk · contribs) was confirmed as Saedirof (talk · contribs), and that Redlance (talk · contribs) made the same edits via open proxy. Check user proof: [51]. But MarkPC (talk · contribs) escaped and got himself a second life by saying that he never made any edits to the articles that Saedirof (talk · contribs) has edited namely Sengunthar and Mudaliar. This is so not true as the 3 articles are closely related and MarkPC (talk · contribs), Saedirof (talk · contribs) and his other proxies have all been deleting the same sections from the 3 articles. This is obvious if you read the articles. He now, views me as an obstacle as I have discovered his true identity (& almost got him banned) and wants to remove me so that he can continue pushing his view. So what does he do? He makes edits via various ips and socks that he has listed above and then alleges that these are related to me. He also cunningly reverts Sengunthar and Mudaliar via his sock Saedirof (talk · contribs) (see edits: [52], [53]) and then immediately comes here and complains that I have ceased to be a passive user. Something to think about. Thanks. Youonlylivetwice (talk) 05:01, 23 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Youonlylivetwice (talk · contribs) in his desperation is now accusing me that I created all the above IP addresses to edit war with myself and then blame it on him. The random IP addresses who are sock puppets of Mudaliar (talk · contribs) a banned user, were vandalising long before Youonlylivetwice (talk · contribs) the new sock of Mudaliar (talk · contribs) appeared on Wikipedia. How can I wage an edit war with myself in early January so that I can ban a user who has not made a single edit on Wikipedia until Jan 30. What can I say: the cat is out of the bag. MarkPC (talk) 14:53, 23 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

MarkPC (talk · contribs) has picked out random ips from various articles and is now accusing me of being the "master-puppeteer". In response to his question above How can I edit war with myself in early January...?. MarkPC (talk · contribs) has just confessed to edit-warring with multiple editors over article Devadasi and also concurs that these are random ips. Youonlylivetwice (talk) 18:45, 23 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Youonlylivetwice (talk · contribs) alleged that I did edit war with IP addresses which are my sock puppets to ban him. Now he is gone back to alleging that I did edit war with multiple independent editors from random IPs. I think he will keep on driveling as he is insane. I request some admin to do the checkuser quickly and resolve this issue. Nothing more to add. MarkPC (talk) 19:35, 23 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  •  Inconclusive} Youonlylivetwice has never used any of those IP addresses. At least one of them was probably Hkelkar (talk · contribs). Others could possibly be the same person but if so, they are from all over the world and could be open proxies. Thatcher 01:09, 26 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

    • Not really. First, Cluebot IV is susceptible to false negative reports and fails to detect certain types of proxies. Second, an IP may not be a proxy today but may have been a proxy when the edit was made, and there is evidence of this in some of the checkuser data. Third, a simple Google search for the IP addresses shows that at least some of them are listed on multiple proxy lists. Fourth, other checkuser data suggests that at least some of these IPs are being used by the same person, although the evidence does not point strongly enough at any one person to make a public identification. Thatcher 11:59, 26 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Is it possible to take some action on Youonlylivetwice (talk · contribs) as he is vandalizing my user page [78] apart from reverting many articles to the the versions which have no relevance and removing valid proofs. [79] [80] [81] [82] [83] Saedirof (talk) 21:05, 26 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Recently Saedirof (talk · contribs) has resumed edit-warring after expiration of block in the same articles: [84], [85], [86], [87]. Saedirof (talk · contribs) must be banned for resuming edit-wars in the same articles using various socks. He keeps blanking his talk and user page page)[88], [89] to hide the fact that he has used multiple socks to push POV socks. The tags have been clearly put by an admin JodyB (talk · contribs) [90]. On the other hand he keeps reverting by falsely accusing me of being a banned user. admin Jéské Couriano (talk · contribs) has said that he will be blocked if he continued to do this. Thanks, Youonlylivetwice (talk) 21:13, 26 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I have warned Saedirof in no uncertain terms; any more accusations from him without evidence will be met with a block. -Jéské (v^_^v +2 Pen of Editing) 21:35, 26 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Mudaliar[edit]

User already banned but reappears with different logins to create illusion of multiple users. POV, Vandalism, Blatant lies. This user was banned by arbitration committee for 1 year for vandalising and abusing other editors in Mudaliar and Sengunthar articles. Even though many users try to clean up the article, this user reverts them back to his POV version. Is there any way to lock these articles and permit changes only based on a consensus?

Exactly what arbitration case are you referring to. Also, given the title of this case, you seem to be implying that the users are sockpuppets of an article. If you don't follow the format exactly its difficult for us to answer your queries. --Deskana (talk) 11:05, 15 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I apologize for not clarifying. There is an article called Mudaliar. But this user has cleverly selected username User:Mudaliar which is the same name as article Mudaliar. This clearly causes confusion and he was suggested to change it before he was banned for pushing his POV and slandering. I have added two other users who seem to be pushing the same POV in the Talk:Mudaliar page. Is it possible to do something about this user? Unfortunately User:Isotope23 has locked the version that is just POV for the articles Mudaliar and Sengunthar. The arbitration decision banning user:Mudaliar is [[110]].
