Mark us street[edit]

  • Code letter:C

I have the impression that User:Truli and User:Esgert are sockpuppets of User:Mark us street (editor of "Tiraspol Times", known also as User:MarkStreet and blocked already 3 times for 3RR). Mark us street anounced few days ago he will quit Wikipedia, I suspect he just changed his name to avoid scrutiny from other editors and imediatelly appeared under those new names. Other editors had the same impression: JonathanPops, William Mauco, TSO1D, with some doubts, there are similar edit patterns and interest for the same article (Transnistria). Mark us street was often block for edit warring, Truli also shows the same behaviour. Some of his edits I would qualify as vandalism [1], [2], [3], [4] Regarding Truli, I already reported my suspicions at WP:ANI [5] and received the advice to bring the issue here. Esgert is an other new user with similar interests, he registered in 18 December [6] and from his first edit (a vandalism) he used edit summary [7], which is strange for a newbe.--MariusM 18:57, 22 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Confirmed. I've fullblocked the IP for a month. Essjay (Talk) 01:26, 24 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Mark us street[edit]

User:Helen28 registered in 30 November and had only 2 contributions in Wikipedia [8], both in Talk:Transnistria. In those contributions she (he) defended the positions of User:Mark us street, editor of the website "Tiraspol Times", who previously edited in Wikipedia under the name User:MarkStreet [9]. In 30 November, User:Mark us street was blocked for edit warring [10], I believe he created the User:Helen28 single purpose account to evade the block and to create the impression that his positions have support from many people. I mention also that MarkStreet was proved previously to use sockpuppets [11]. Gallenweekend was not proved previously to be a sockpuppet of MarkStreet, however I still suspect him, as his only contribution at Wikipedia was to vote for inclusion of a link at "Tiraspol Times" in Transnistria article, and after that he didn't show any other interest in Wikipedia. I suspect that Gallenweekend was registered by the same MarkStreet (Mark us street), but from a different computer, and maybe he used also a different computer to edit with the name Helen28 (he was caught to use sockpuppets and maybe is taking some precautions now), this is why I ask a check also between Helen28 and Gallenweekend. Red X Unrelated. Coming from different countries, no sign of any proxying. Essjay (Talk) 03:11, 2 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
