Elysander[edit]

  • Supporting evidence: The name and edit history of this user (Elysander)is similar to the one of the editors' (Lysander's Aim) who was previously exposed and banned as a sockpuppeteer along with several dozen puppets.[1].

I am not 100% sure if it is him but considering the number of puppets a previous editor had, I believe it is certainly worth to check.Thank you --Satt 2 (talk) 19:58, 28 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Clerk note: Merged from Wikipedia:Requests for checkuser/Case/Elysander. This case subpage includes a few prior requests. – Luna Santin (talk) 03:07, 29 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Stale it would have gone stale by a few days unless there is some activitiy from a confirmed account in July to check. YellowMonkey (bananabucket) 07:50, 30 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Lycander's Aim[edit]

  • Supporting evidence:

The editing History of these Users are very similar. Editing mostly the same things on articles such as "Asia", "Blond" and "Europe" with not very long intervals in between. And their edits often follow each other in various orders sometimes reverting for each other. Their accounts are not new despite the fact that they have few edits.it seems like one of them is created in 2006 and the other in the beginning of 2007. They seem to get active I guess on certian "occasions".

Once on the "Georgia" disambiguation page there was some bitter discussion about which had to come first Georgia (state) or Georgia (country). I and several other users even received emails with death threats from user:Kesälauantait and user:Lycander's Aim. I am really not 100% sure about user:Kayrat Tuntekov's connection with them though. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Anna polly (talkcontribs)

Additional information needed Could you please provide specific (recent) diffs showing the disruption? Thanks! -- lucasbfr talk 11:37, 27 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

There was also what I think an attempt to remove a map that he "did not like" . As you will see in the following "diff" .he was smart enough not to remove the entire thing so that in watchlist it would appear like he added something instead of deleting. He just added some arrows and subtly made the images disappear rather than remove completely. Why would someone do something like that ? [2] [3] --Anna polly (talk) 15:57, 27 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I was not sure about Kayrat Tuntekov until now when I started looking for diff.s I really dont know who is the "master" and who is the sockpuppet but I am sure that they very suspiciously appear on the similar articles and send me emails of similar nature, I believe they are somehow connected. I dont know , maybe they are different persons and just friends with each other and maybe I m wrong. That is exactly why I think the check user is necessary.--Anna polly (talk) 16:13, 27 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Clerk note: all blocked. I tagged User:Kesälauantait as the master since he edited back in 2006, and I indef blocked pending really good explanations. -- lucasbfr talk 09:51, 30 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
