Kitia[edit]

Editorofthewiki account created 17 days after Kitia's indef block. On December 25th the IP claimed to be Kitia requesting unblock. Nine days later the same IP makes an edit to Editorofthewiki's user page, this edit looks like a normal edit of the sort done by the legitimate account holder while logged out. A few minutes later a logged in Editorofthewiki added to the IP edit, this pretty much confirms that the IP was Editorofthewiki. So Editorofthewiki and Kitia are the same or this is a very unlikely coincidence.
On January 5th Editorofthewiki started a DRV for an article started by Kitia, commenting that Kitia's block might be wrong. A 2 day old account starting a DRV isn't the actions of a new user. Toppertoy (talk) 22:04, 25 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • Yeah, that was like 10 days apart on a NorVA ISP (Whoops, not an ISP but a Verizon office account). it is possible that it was a coincidence. Protonk (talk) 22:32, 25 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Firstly, the original request is no Declined. Kitia's edits are  Stale and any assessment would be nothing more than speculation on my part.

On the other hand, Toppertoy is part of an impressive network of socks. These are:

Please don't archive this case yet -- there's another aspect to this that I need to look at first. Sam Korn (smoddy) 00:19, 26 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Kitia[edit]

Here's a quick explanation of the above.

Note also that User:213.225.127.188 appears to be Kitia: [47], [48]

The first edit by You've Got Mail! was this one, which identifies the page as having been created by Kitia as a multi-role account. Kitia has been warned about this on his talk page, but the pattern of AFD votestacking covers a number of low-participation AfDs, so it may have effected the outcomes as noted here. The apparent sockpuppet has also particpated in three deletion reviews [49], [50], [51]. The DRV comments have already been struck out, but this seems to me to have been widespread enough to need confirmation of whether or not this was actually Kitia's sockuppet (particularly since Kitia has also engaged in some limited votestacking, by notifying selected people likely to vote "keep" [52], [53], [54], [55], [56]).

I note that comparing the edit patterns of the two users, YGM's edits are all clustered very close to the limited times of day when Kitia has been editing. However, the indef-blocked User:Ryoung122, a friend of Kitia's has been using his large mailing list to encourage meatpuppets to sign up to wikipedia to participate in AfDs, so it may be that You've Got Mail! has indeed been used as a multi-user role account.

I have included I'll bust your beak! in this nomination because the pattern of editing also seems very similar to that of YGM and Kitia. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 17:37, 17 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
