JSR[edit]

Patented Freedom skies edits.

Freedom skies used to operate out of IP range 59.94.96.xxx–59.94.106.xxx, but his most recent sock activity has been traced to an ISP that uses highly dynamic IP addresses ranging from 122.161.xxx.xxx–122.163.xxx.xxx JFD (talk) 01:34, 3 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Red X Unrelated -- There is no visible evidence at this time -- Avi (talk) 04:45, 7 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Pederpax[edit]

Patented Freedom skies edits. There might be a sockfarm just as there was with Ramsay 09 (talk+ · tag · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log · CA · CheckUser(log· investigate · cuwiki). JFD (talk) 01:02, 24 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • Foreman 53 is  Confirmed and there was a sock farm there, but Pederpax is Red X Unrelated as far as I can tell. Thatcher 02:44, 24 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Vtria 08[edit]

There are indications that Vtria 08 is not a newbie but rather a reincarnation/sock. Moreover, there are correlations between the edit patterns of Vtria 08 and Freedom skies:

  Vtria 08 Freedom skies
Moerou toukon
Phillip Rosenthal
Tea Deletes Yamamoto reference Deletes Yamamoto reference

JFD (talk) 02:47, 10 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

In my defense:-
User:Meatwaggon said the following things to me:
He also kept deleting well sourced edits made using Encyclopedia Britannica in addition to reverting other editors. (user:Pyrotec and user:Ammar shaker) He disagrees with everyone's edits.
I initially edited only on Tea, where I saw user:JFD take an aggressive stand against other countries (Britain and India). I had this discussion ([1]) with him and made it absolutely clear to him clear that I intended to edit some of his contributions where I'll edit sections belonging to Islam, West, and India.([2]) This I did after having taken a look for nearly one hour at his contributions, which I found to be unbalanced and poorly sourced.([3])
Vtria 08 (talk)
I've made another small post here. Vtria 08 (talk) 21:48, 12 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Confirmed that Garza 17 is also Sentinel 2008 (talk · contribs)
  • DZ Sepia, Garza 17 and Vtria 08 are all on the same ISP in the same city, but as the ISP uses highly dynamic IP addresses, the best I can say is  Possible or maybe  Likely.
  • All these accounts are similarly located to Freedom skies but on a different ISP than Freedom skies used (last year).
  • Hitman047 is Red X Unrelated to all of the above except that the 99.244 IPs are his. Thatcher 03:28, 14 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Update
  • The following accounts are sockpuppets of each other and on the same ISP but different IP than Garza, Sentinel and Vitria:
  1. Foreman 53 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log)
  2. Goring 53 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log)

Hitman047[edit]

Each and every single one of Hitman047's small handful of edits echoes Freedom skies' nationalist POV-pushing.

Hitman047:
During the 1st century, economies such as that of India flourished to become the world's highest. According to estimates by experts, India's GDP (Gross Domestic Product) was $33.750 million (about 32.9% of world's total GDP) during the 1st century. India continued to dominate the world economy until the 18th century invasion by Britain.
Freedom skies:
if you take a look into the economic history of India, it was the largest economy on the planet according to Angus Maddison in his book The World Economy: A Millennial Perspective, India had the world's largest economy between the 1st century and 15th century, from a 32.9% share of world GDP in the 1st century to 24.5% in 1500
Hitman047:
Bodhidharma has often been credited with the invention of Kung Fu during his tenure at the Shaolin Monastey. His teachings continue to be part of the Chinese culture even today. However, the Indian monk's precious contribution often goes untold.
Freedom skies:
India is also widely acknowledged to be the home of the legendary monk Bodhidharma, credited for establishing martial traditions into the Shaolin temple of China and giving birth to the tradition of Chinese martial arts.

JFD (talk) 21:38, 13 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • Red X Unrelated Assuming that Havelock the Dane and Davies, Andrew (from below) are Freedom skies, then Hitman047 is unrelated. Thatcher 22:32, 14 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Arch7[edit]

(Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Freedom skies#Freedom skies must use one account)

Like Freedom skies, Arch7 is obsessed with claiming that the legendary link between Bodhidharma and the martial arts is historically authentic, and characterizes dissenting views as "bigoted".

JFD (talk) 01:52, 2 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Clerk note: There was a formating problem with this request which I think I have fixed. There could be another case named Arch7 but I think I have it all merged together correctly now. -JodyB talk 14:22, 2 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Additional information needed Please explain the relationship of Havelock the Dane (talk+ · tag · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log · CA · CheckUser(log· investigate · cuwiki) to this request. -JodyB talk 14:31, 2 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Havelock is the most active puppet of the sockfarm uncovered by the last checkuser. JFD (talk) 16:18, 2 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I remember that last case, however this one is  Unlikely - Alison 04:54, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Davies, Andrew[edit]

Clerk note:(IP addresses stripped to not clutter the listing pages)

The edit patterns of Freedom skies and Davies, Andrew are both marked by inflating claims of Indian precedence over other cultures.

For example, Freedom skies and Davies, Andrew are both very concerned with playing up the status of Taxila as an early university.

Bledsoet[edit]

The Arbitration Committee has forbidden Freedom skies the use of sockpuppets, explicitly stipulating that "Any other account used may be indefinitely banned."

Bledsoet has re-introduced to Firearm material that was first added by Freedom skies using an unsigned IP.

And, just like Freedom skies, Bledsoet inaccurately attributes to Brenda J. Buchanan the opinions of Asitesh Bhattacharya.

Freedom skies[edit]

  • Code letter: B

The Arbitration Committee has placed Freedom skies on revert parole.[4]

I am making this checkuser request to ensure that Freedom skies does not evade his parole through the use of sockpuppets.

Freedom skies,[5][6][7] Phillip Rosenthal[8][9] and Moerou toukon[10][11] have all pushed an Indian nationalist POV.

When Phillip Rosenthal cites Zen Buddhism: A History, he identifies its translators, James W. Heisig and Paul Knitter, as co-authors,[12][13] just like Freedom skies.[14]

Phillip Rosenthal has inserted a particular portrait of Bodhidharma into several articles,[15][16][17] just like Freedom skies.[18][19][20]

Phillip Rosenthal has edit-warred with Tigeroo over the role of Islam in the decline of Buddhism in India,[21][22][23][24] just like Freedom skies.[25][26][27]

Phillip Rosenthal has sought to whitewash the persecution of Buddhists by Pusyamitra Sunga,[28] just like Freedom skies.[29]

Phillip Rosenthal promotes the same theory of yogic origins for Buddhism[30][31][32] that Freedom skies does.[33]

In this diff, Phillip Rosenthal reverts to Freedom skies' version.

Shanmugam34's sole edit is the creation of Yoga and Buddhism[34] using material added by Freedom skies[35] and Phillip Rosenthal.[36]

JFD 16:47, 1 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

 Likely Phillip Rosenthal and Moerou toukon; Shanmugam34 is Red X Unrelated. Dmcdevit·t 03:07, 2 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
