Brightonkid[edit]

Has been involved in two similar revert wars on the Aldershot (Clever_dicky) and Brighton (Brightonkid) talk pages. The 213.166.17.xxx IP addresses are the common thread here. The Brighton revert war has involved an external link which keeps getting added back by the IPs above, contrary to the wishes of the main custodians of the Brighton page (and others). Further investigation revealed that the 'www.heureka.clara.net/sunrise/keith.htm author' of the page being linked to had written a remarkable essay about this dispute ('www.indymedia.org.uk/en/2006/08/346947.html') in which the language being used was in part word for word what was being added to the talk page by the above IPs. The allegation is therefore that sockpuppets are being used to swing a talk page discussion and vote, and the owner of these sockpuppets is the owner of the link in question. Finally, it should be noted that the author in question is a self-professed "internet guru". I wouldn't be surprised if he was capable of using proxy servers to make edits from different IP addresses. Gsd2000 22:13, 12 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Clever_dicky (talk+ · tag · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log · CA · CheckUser(log) · investigate · cuwiki) has convienently added a comment to the Brighton page.
