86.92.134.171[edit]

Older (to old?) SPAs with similar pattern included for completeness:

These four accounts have shown up supporting each other at the FreeSWITCH article. Similar editing style and similar misunderstanding of wikipedia policy gives me enough to be suspicious. ---J.S (T/C/WRE) 07:53, 7 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I realize that you can't confirm if the IP editor is responsible, but a positive connection between the others would help establish a time-editing pattern and build up a writing analysis. ---J.S (T/C/WRE) 15:36, 7 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
JS, I am not and have not been a sockpuppet for trixter... I am a VoIP consultant and contributor to Asterisk, FreeSwitchand others. Altho I am not a member of the [FreeSwitch |FreeSwitch] core team I have made several contributions so to avoid COI issues I have avoiding making edits directly to the entry in question only to try and provide a) clarification to who certain individuals are, and b) provide additional 3rd party references for the WP:N discussion. Please advise. I will continue monitoring this and other pages. if I can help in any way to get this sorted please advise. --Silik0nJesus 21:05, 8 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thats funny, because your account[1], Jontow's account[2] and Mscollins1's account[3] were all created within several hours of each other. Also, there is a striking pattern to the edits:
Silik0nJesus	Jontow	Mscollins1

That is fine if you feel that way, however I am located in Alabama, User:mscollins1 I know in passing. He has been one of the biggest critics of FreeSwitch in the past. User:Trixter ie is known to us also however located in Europe. I am a known member of the F/OSS VoIP community and have contributed software to several projects. Just for the record I am Ken Rice. I am a 3rd party moderator for Digium's public Asterisk forum as SwK[1] I feel that a few projects are noteworthy enuff in this arena are notable enough to be listed in Wikipedia. Asterisk, FreeSWITCH, YATE, Bayonne (the GNU Telephony Project), CallWeaver(formerly OpenPBX.org) just to name a few as they are main OSS PBX/SoftSwitch platforms. Feel free to look me up on Efnet or Freenode at your convience
Thats why I'm requesting a check-user. ---J.S (T/C/WRE) 02:59, 9 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

"These four accounts"- you've listed nine. Please be clearer as to which ones you suspect are sockpuppets, and provide diffs showing them supporting each other. --Deskana (talk)

I've made modification's since the original request since accounts have moved up from the "inactive" to the "active" category with the recent dispute. ---J.S (T/C/WRE) 07:52, 11 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
no Declined. None of the accounts are active anymore, really. Whether or not that's our fault for taking so long to reply to this or not is irrelevant. --Deskana (talk) 17:53, 20 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
No problem. Issue seems to have gone away on it's own anyway. ---J.S (T/C/WRE) 18:15, 20 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
