Thunderbrand[edit]

final (13/0/0) ending 19:17 July 30 2005 (UTC)

I've been here for almost a year, and I'm having a great time contributing to Wikipedia. So far, I have over 5300 edits Mostly, I do work that involves the Wikipedia:WikiProject Computer and video games and I also participate in the Wikipedia:WikiProject Stub sorting. I believe I am courteous to other members and now that I check the RC page a lot more now, I could use the admin tools to make my job easier. Thunderbrand 19:17, July 23, 2005 (UTC)

Candidate, please indicate acceptance of the nomination here: Self-nom. I accept.

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you!]] (t) (c) 04:45, July 29, 2005 (UTC)

Questions for the candidate
A few generic questions to provide guidance for voters:

1. What sysop chores, if any, would you anticipate helping with? (Please read the page about administrators and the administrators' reading list.)
A. I would check the Recent Changes page for any signs of obvious vandalism, and I would look at the Newpages for anything that could be speedied. I also might check the vandalism in progress page to keep an eye on anything.
2. Of your articles or contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
A. Probably the contribution I am most proud of is fixing up all the Star Fox related articles. When I found them, they weren't up to par really with other video game articles, not to say I was the only one who fixed them up. But the article I contributed the greatest to is the Star Fox: Assault page. I've also helped with the Half-Life 2 page by adding screenshots there.
3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
A.Really the only thing I can remember is back when I first joined, I added a lot of box art to game articles and tagged them with the {{pd}} tag, which caused a couple other contributors to get a little upset (see my talk page), cause they had to go and re-tag them. But that was many months ago and I've learned by my mistakes.
