Co-nomination by Moni3

I would like to co-nominate Maralia for Administrator. She is an editor of the highest quality, gracing the pages around WP:FAC, doing clean-up duty—something that is desperately needed—and copy editing articles. She sees the inherent value in well-written and compelling articles and takes some serious time to concentrate on making them better. When I put my first few FACs up (Birmingham campaign, Everglades National Park), she came along and dusted off my citations to make them perfection. She is a coordinator at WikiProject Military History, one of the most active WikiProjects on the site. And for kicks, she does gnomish work all over Wikipedia, templating articles for speedy deletion, cleaning up here and there, and occasionally asking me to do admin tasks for her. It would be foolish to provide diffs in this nomination; there are hundreds of examples of her tinkering with articles, templates, project space, and talk pages to make them better. There is no reason she shouldn't be doing admin actions herself. Although this will make sure she gets even less credit for what she does, Wikipedia would be better off having her as an admin. I have worked closely with Maralia in a various capacities for around eighteen months. She is a rounded, capable editor, with considerable good humour, patience, and clue. Her wikiproject work is exemplary: she is a leading contributor in the Ships wikiproject; is in her second term as a military history coordinator; and also plays an active and trusted role at FAC. The sysop bit will be of great help to her in all these capacities.
