Antaeus Feldspar[edit]

[{{fullurl:Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Antaeus Feldspar|action=edit}} Vote here] (1/1/0) ending 04:36, May 24 2006 (UTC)

Antaeus Feldspar (talk · contribs) – Antaeus has been an active member of Wikipedia for almost two years (first edit July 17 2004) and during that time has chalked up a whopping 13,000 edits [1]. I first encountered him when viewing his thousands of invaluable contributions to all articles Scientology related, a field in which he is highly respected. However one only needs to view his editing history to see he contributes to a broad variety of subjects, has been awarded the WikiMedal for Janitorial Services, and has whacked more than his fair share of vandals. His experience speaks for itself so I will simply add that clichéd as it sounds I almost fell out of my chair when I could find an RfA in his name, and as such it is with great pride I present this nomination. - Glen TC (Stollery) 04:36, 17 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Candidate, please indicate acceptance of the nomination here: I am sorry to say that I am not interested in adminship at this time. I had already decided this some time past, so certain parties who have been harassing me cannot give themselves the credit for my declining. I wanted to give full consideration to the party who urged me to seek adminship, who I know acted in good faith and simply missed my previous indication that I was not interested in it; however, having given that full consideration, I must decline for the same reasons that I have declined before. I am sorry for having taken so long to make this decision. -- Antaeus Feldspar 21:42, 21 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose

  1. User:Terryeo Feldspar is able to state his reasoning at some times and especially to those whom he feels are friends, but under pressure and to those whom he does not view as friendly, his typed word will sometimes rouse controversy, friction and difficulty rather than soothe roughed edges and inspire healthy discussion. I oppose. Terryeo 15:38, 21 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
