Differences between French fry ingredients[edit]

Is there a site anywhere that talks about the differences in the ingredients of different French fries?? (All restaurants in the Chicken, Hamburger, Sandwiches, and Seafood sections of this template participate.)

Here's a few of some common fast food chains: https://www.foodbeast.com/news/whats-in-our-french-fries/
But I doubt there'll be a list of french fry ingredients in more casual restaurants, since they're not as "integral" as fast food fries. Taiwanesetoast888 (talk) 02:57, 20 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
One take-away is that McDonald's's fries are not vegan, something I did not expect.  --Lambiam 10:10, 20 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
As I recall, some years ago they switched from beef tallow to vegetable oil, in part due to India objecting to it. (This may be why McD's fries don't taste as good as they once did.) ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 11:47, 20 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
This article here [1] covers the history of McDonald's fries. India appears to have had zero impact on the change of recipe. --Jayron32 14:58, 20 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Why isn’t an article of Miraheze available?[edit]

I search it up and there isn’t’ an article for the wiki farm. Plus, there is already one for Fandom. Explain why? —2600:1010:B1A7:5CE1:F888:A176:26F6:1B94 (talk) 16:45, 20 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

There are two possibilities 1) Not every subject is appropriate for a Wikipedia article, only some subjects are appropriate. 2) No one has created it yet. you could do it if you wanted to, and so long as #1 is not true. --Jayron32 16:55, 20 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

World Book Encyclopedia being the only publisher[edit]

Why is World Book Encyclopedia being the only one reference series still being published, while others like Briticanica go digital online? How though? —2600:1010:B1A7:5CE1:F888:A176:26F6:1B94 (talk) 16:48, 20 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

This article discusses some of the context with the demise of paper encyclopedia. --Jayron32 16:54, 20 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
What other encyclopedias that are still being published as print? More examples? How? —2600:1010:B1A7:5CE1:F888:A176:26F6:1B94 (talk) 17:27, 20 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
As far as I know, World Book is the only general purpose English-language encyclopedia still printed, according to their own website. --Jayron32 11:55, 21 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
