November 28[edit]

Looking for an active site like the late "Face Transformer"[edit]

The university of St Andrews site once had a "Face Transformer" - an up that took your portrait and will convert it to several artists style, and more. Regrettably, it was deprecated.

I'm looking for something similar.

EDIT: - the face transformer did far more than simulate brushstokes. It actually turned a portrait to the face style the artists used. The most impressive ones were El Greco and Modigliani — Preceding unsigned comment added by אילן שמעוני (talkcontribs) 07:35, 28 November 2020 (UTC) אילן שמעוני (talk) 19:04, 27 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Is this the one? Alansplodge (talk) 16:46, 28 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
No, you uploaded a photo of your face, and it produce several portraits that looked like famous painters paintings. Van Gogh wasn't good, but Modigliani was decent and El Greco was excellent - it really looked like his works. אילן שמעוני (talk) 16:59, 28 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
The Google Arts & Culture app takes any photo and makes it look like a famous painter's work. Clarityfiend (talk) 20:32, 30 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
It just reconstructs the brush strokes, not the portrait style. Thanks anyhow. It seems like a lost cause. אילן שמעוני (talk) 19:01, 1 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
