Auderiense[edit]

What could the name Leptictidium auderiense refer to? I have though of the possibility of it being a reference to the Aude department in France, but it's highly improbable due to the fact that this animal has been found only in Germany. I don't read German very well, but from this link it looks like there was a Roman site called "Auderia" near what is now Dieburg in the Odenwald. This may be the origin. --Cam (talk) 20:46, 30 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Spanish[edit]
