March 11[edit]

Shake It Up and Ballet[edit]

Do any of the cast of Shake It Up dance ballet? Have any of the cast of Shake It Up ever danced ballet? Have any of the cast of Shake It Up learnt how to dance ballet?

Sparkle?[edit]

I've heard that there's this new TV series about some vampire dude, and he (and I quote) sparkles. People on the Internet have written how they hate it when he sparkles. What exactly does "sparkling" actually mean here? JIP | Talk 19:39, 11 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

It's most likely a parody of the films in The Twilight Saga franchise, where some of the vampire characters sparkle when they are in daylight. --McDoobAU93 19:51, 11 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I've never seen this Twilight Saga thing, but I've heard of it. So is this "sparkling" thing to be taken literally, i.e. they have tiny little reflections of light all around them? JIP | Talk 20:11, 11 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, they do literally sparkle if exposed to sunlight (rather than dying like vampires usually do). This is why they live in Washington State, because it always rains there, har har. It's probably even stupider than you can imagine. Adam Bishop (talk) 20:45, 11 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I wonder where it falls on the My Mother the Car Index. ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 00:29, 13 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
There are, if you really want to see, plenty of videos of the sparkling ("THIS IS THE SKIN OF A KILLER, BELLA") on Youtube. The in-story justification is basically that being a vampire petrifies your body tissues, turning them into sparkly rock. Smurrayinchester 10:01, 12 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
